About Us
Who is ACI? ACI Design Studio, started life in 2008 as ABODE Commercial Interiors (hence the ACI). We were a sister company to the former ABODE Home, and formed out of a growing demand for personal service and unique office interiors. ACI has completed numerous projects from lobbies, lounges and restaurants to site furnishings for multi-million dollar facilities.
When ABODE Home closed in 2010, a void was created in Wichita (and the mid west) for contemporary and transitional furniture. We also discovered that Interior Designers and Architects were looking for a place to source quality home and commercial furnishings for their clients. So, in the fall of 2010 we relocated to 1425 E. Douglas and became ACI Design Studio to meet the needs of our residential, commercial and trade customers.
Transitions Group
The "Transitions Group" is an umbrella company created in 1997, and is composed of five separate companies; Furniture Options, Furniture Options Events, Marriott ExecuStay Midwest, Corporate Amenities and Abode Commercial Interiors & Design Studio.
Furniture Options was founded in 1985 by Wichitan Bill Jackson. Furniture Options specializes in short-term furniture package rental. Furniture Options has since grown beyond the Wichita, Kansas marketplace and now has showrooms and warehouse operations throughout the Midwest.
In the fall of 1989, the company entered the temporary housing industry when Bill founded Suite Options. Suite Options is a full-service corporate housing provider that offers fully furnished and well equipped temporary housing for those who need to stay a week, a month, or longer. Suite Options quickly grew and was recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as the fastest growing company in Kansas. In 2009 Suite Options ended their 20th year with a flourish and became the largest Marriott ExecuStay Franchise in the Midwest. Bill acquired Corporate Amenities from Marriott in March of 2009, a full service house wares and linens division.

Transitions Group is a $21 million company headquartered in Wichita, Kansas with offices in Kansas City, Des Moines, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Dallas, Houston, and Baton Rouge.
